I poured out my soul before His throne
I cried out to the Lord
In my distress
I poured out my soul before His throne
My tears flooded my bed
His grace answered my anguish
I cried out to the Lord
In my distress
I poured out my soul before His throne
My tears flooded my bed
His grace answered my anguish
As Christians we are ‘the called’, otherwise known as children of God, or even more appropriately, soldiers ‘In Christ’. It is written, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Eph 6:12) At the very core of the Christian dilemma we find that the intellectual knowledge of Jesus Christ can often get in the way of the Power of Jesus Christ.
According to Webster’s dictionary, “Martyr comes from Greek martyr, witness, i.e., witness to the faith. A martyr suffers by conscious choice, usually in defense of a principle.”
